# Cover Claim Guide
## Step 1: Launch APP and connect wallet
## Step 2: Submit Claim
Navigate to *Cover -> My Cover*
Click the "*Claim Icon*" for the cover you wish to make the claim
Enter the claim details, tick the checkbox and then click "*Submit".*

Note: A deposit fee will be charged which will be fully or partially refunded once the claim is settled, depending on the outcome of the claim. Approve the transaction in your wallet. Now that you've submitted your claim, please wait for the Claim Committee to assess your claim.
## Step 3: Check Claim Status
You can check the status of your claim and payout (if any) under *Cover -> My Claim*
Click "*View*" to see the details.
The progress will be displayed in the progress bar on the left.

## Step 4: Cancel Claim
On the Claim Details page, click "Cancel Claim"
Approve the transaction in your wallet. Once completed, you will be refunded the deposit fee in full.

Note: Users are eligible to cancel the claim within 5 days after claim submission. Once the status changes to Investigate after 5 days, no more cancellation is allowed.

## Step 5: Accept the Payout Decision and Withdraw Payout
Following the claim assessment process, the Claim Committee will vote to make a payout decision after investigation.
### *👉 Approved*: Payout the full claim amount and refund the deposit fee in full.
With direct approve, you can click *Withdraw* at the bottom to get the payout and deposit fee refund in full.
### *👉 Partially Approved*: Payout a revised amount and only refund 50% of the deposit fee.
If you accept this decision, click *Agree*
On the pop-up page, click Confirm.
Approve the transaction in your wallet. Once completed, you can then click Withdraw to get the payout and deposit refund.
### *👉 Rejected*: No payout. Only refund 50% of the deposit fee.
If you accept this decision, click *Agree*
On the pop-up page, click Confirm.
Approve the transaction in your wallet. Once completed, you can then click Withdraw to get the deposit fee refund.
## Step 6: Appeal and Withdraw Payout
If you disagree with the payout decision, you shall have Seven (7) days to file an Appeal with new and additional evidence for proof of loss, failing which the Appeal shall be rejected. The remaining 50% of the deposit fee will be charged for filing an Appeal.
*👉* Claim: Rejected
Click *Dispute* to file an appeal.
On the pop-up page, click Confirm.
Approve the transaction in your wallet. Now that you've submitted your appeal, please wait for the Claim Committee to assess your appeal.
## Step 7 Dispute Result
*⭐️ Approved:* Payout the full claim amount and no refund of deposit fee.
Click *Withdraw* to get the payout.

*⭐️ Rejected:* No payout and no refund of deposit fee. Claim closed.
